Junaid Rahimullah joined Nakheel as Chief Financial Officer in October 2020 with a focus on driving the company’s growth.
His remit includes finance, procurement, technology, contracts, human resources, concession, and administration. He has worked closely with the Chief Executive Officer to create a collaborative workplace culture and strengthen governance and accountability at Nakheel.
Junaid began his 30-year career in the Middle East as an auditor at Arthur Andersen in Oman before joining the Dubai office where he progressed to senior management. Prior to joining Nakheel, Junaid held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Dubai World where he played a pivotal role in negotiating a USD 17 billion debt restructuring.
Junaid also serves on the boards of Gulf African Bank, One&Only Resorts and Mazagan. A chartered accountant and a certified public accountant, Junaid was educated in Pakistan and the United States of America.

Omar Khoory is the Chief Assets and Hospitality Officer overseeing the retail, leisure, hospitality and marina sectors at Nakheel, including more than 20,000 villas and apartments, 3,500 hotel keys and 500 berths.
Through his 15-year tenure holding various positions at Nakheel, Omar now spearheads the management, operation and leasing of world-famous hotels, large-scale destination developments, as well as two state-of-the-art marinas. He has also led the realisation, development and delivery of The View at The Palm, creating an award-winning tourist attraction for the UAE.
Born in Dubai and educated in the UK, Omar has an Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree from City, University of London as well as a Leadership and Management certification from Wharton Executive Education, University of Pennsylvania. Omar also became a member of Young Presidents’ Organisation, the global leadership community of extraordinary leaders.

Rasha Hasan joined Nakheel in 2021 as Chief Commercial Officer, leading the sales and product launch strategies. She brings her passion for building customer relations to Nakheel, continuously developing outstanding customer journeys to increase market share and uphold the company’s brand image.
With over 18 years of experience in the real estate industry in the UAE, Rasha has held senior management positions at some of Dubai’s largest real estate companies and has played an instrumental role in the successful sales launches of the city’s most iconic projects.
Rasha is a Chartered Accountant and has a bachelor’s degree in banking and finance. Her customer centric approach has seen her transform her career focus from banking to real estate.

Ayman Hamdy joined Nakheel in 2020 as General Counsel and Company Secretary to revitalise the company’s legal, governance, compliance and regulatory functions. He lead the realignment and establishment of the legal team that supports in carrying out Nakheel’s vision across its megaprojects.
Ayman’s 30-year legal career spans senior roles in government and private entities in the Middle East including Public Prosecutor at the Ministry of Justice in Egypt, Head of Legal at Unilever in the Middle East as well as positions as Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary for Emaar Properties PJSC and other international real estate companies. Ayman also served on the Board of Directors of many companies in the UAE and internationally.
He is a member of the State Bar of California, Egyptian Bar Association and he has been practicing law in the UAE since 1996. He is a Fellow of the International Bar Association and a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and the American Bar Association. He studied law at the law schools of Washington University at St. Louis (U.S.), Université Paris Dauphine (France) and Alexandria University (Egypt).

In his role as Chief Projects Officer at Nakheel, Mohammed Rashed is responsible for delivering diverse developments across Nakheel’s various portfolios.
Mohammed began his career at Nakheel in 2003 as a project architect and has since risen through the ranks to become Chief Projects Officer in 2020. Over the course of his time at Nakheel, Mohammed has worked on numerous flagship projects including Jumeirah Islands, Jebel Ali Village, Jumeirah Park and Dubai Islands, in addition to Nakheel’s various malls and destinations.
Passionate about delivering high-quality projects that meet the needs of the customers, Mohammed has ensured the delivery of over 20,000 residential units and overseen USD 5.5 billion worth of construction.
Mohammed holds a degree in Architectural Engineering from the College of Engineering at United Arab Emirates University and a master’s degree in International Business from the University of Wollongong in Dubai. He has also completed the Dubai World Leaders Programme at Wharton Business School in Pennsylvania.

Elias Moubayed is the Chief Development Officer at Nakheel and leads the asset developments portfolio overseeing the design and development of Nakheel’s master-planned communities. From site acquisition, project strategy and value chain development, to design works, public realm and infrastructure planning, Elias has been instrumental in the conception and delivery of Nakheel’s mega development projects including Palm Jebel Ali, Dubai Islands, Al Furjan, and Jebel Ali Village.
An architect and urban designer with over 25 years of experience, Elias has led the master development of iconic and award-winning projects across the Middle East and North America including the Beirut Central District Reconstruction, the US Census Bureau Headquarters, the Saraya Mixed Use Resorts Portfolio, and the Waterfront City Lifestyle Destination. He has held leadership positions with prominent regional and international organisations responsible for the development, master planning, design, and delivery of urban districts and key assets including hotels, residences, offices, institutions, and retail entities.
Educated in Canada and the USA, Elias holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Toronto and a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University. A passionate placemaker, creating value for customers and the opportunity to shape cities and communities is what drives Elias.

Francis Giani is the Chief Community Management Officer overseeing Nakheel’s communities and leading business strategies to deliver world-class services and holistic living for all residents.
Francis joined Nakheel in 2020 and has been instrumental in transforming its community management business into a customer-centric and technology-driven business. Francis is passionate about creating a sense of belonging at Nakheel, whether for investors, residents, service providers or the workforce. He has also played an active role in bringing sustainability as an integral part of the community function.
With over 20 years of real estate experience specialising in community management and customer experience, Francis has held leadership positions across prominent regional developers and property management companies.
Born in South-Africa, Francis holds a master’s degree in Real Estate Investment and Finance with his thesis focusing on communities in the UAE. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Law) degree as well as a degree in speech and communication.

Abed Bibi joined Nakheel in 2021 as Chief Marketing Officer where he leads the branding and marketing strategy. He is spearheading the digital transformation across all areas of the business and is bringing his passion for enhancing experiences to Nakheel to ensure that the company is a customer-first brand.
An avid entrepreneur and a creative leader with over 30 years of experience in the UAE, Abed has led innovative digital marketing companies across diverse sectors including real estate, start-ups, multinationals, and SMEs.
A computer science and accounting graduate from the Lebanese American University in Beirut, Abed’s creative spirit has seen him transform his career focus from an Electronic Data Processing and Financial Accounting auditor in his early career to a regional leader in marketing and branding.
